What’s the best home cure for dog’s mange esp "demodecs"?
They say demodecs mange will heal on its own depends on the type of demodecs and the defense system of the dog. Usually natural healing takes up to a year. So the nitty gritty is, I don’t want that long for my dog to suffer. I saw one site offering a best home cure but they don’t divulge the formulation. Consequently, what is the best home cure secret for demodecs mange? I don’t want typical medication. I want the best secret formula to get rid of mange easily. Thanks.

You can give your dogs immune system a real boost, to help him fight this demodex, by feeding good supplements. You will find really good ones at your local herbalist shop, or this one is great> http://springtimeinc.com/product/88/2
Many dog people swear by Goodwinol Ointment – applied to infected skin until well healed…and it is on many websites, but I have no personal experience with this.

There’s no magic bullet but have had success so far in several cases with Advocate, a spot on that treats fleas, mite lice, prevents worms and other parasites. The mites in this case live in the hair follicle so external treatment with dips etc don’t work. Advocate is absorbed from the cutaneous layer and treats it from the inside it. It might take a few months of treatment to completely sort it and the problem can recur so continuous use is recommended. These mite live naturally on dogs and it’s only some who have problems with it, it is thought to be genetic.

Demodex is very hard to get rid of. From what I understand, the mange mite is one that naturally occurs on lots of dogs but does not do any damage until the dog gets stressed out. Then the mite mounts its attack and the dog goes bald.
What I would recommend is focussing on how to reduce the stress in the dog’s life. Some dogs are easily stressed out by things such as a move, new people in the family, or a change in food or bedding. Even changing their daily routine, or adding other pets to the household can be traumatic, and sometimes the only sign is an expression of illness, such as an outbreak of demodex.
Feed your dog the best quality food in appropriate amounts, exercise him daily, and try to keep stress levels down. This will help IF it is demodex mange that you are dealing with. If your dog has another type of mange, or allergies manifesting in hairloss and skin problems, then you should really seek out medical treatment. If it is another problem, and you wait too long to treat it, you could be your dog at a serious risk and it could be much longer than a year to get over it. These conditions are very hard on their systems.
Good luck!

Cherry Juice (best without sugar) and Apple Cider Vinegar. Worked wonders for my friends dad. It’s all about getting the uric acid out (avoid red meat and dairy) and cleaning up the liver. Aloe juice would be a good anti inflammatory as well.
